The clock is in good overall condition. Keeping good time and striking properly. The bell sound very cleanly, as a ships bell would. There is stain on the back of the lower tablet & it is no longer flat due to moisture damage.
Even with some wavy to it this does not affect the display of the clock adversely. The images on both tablets are clean, though a little faded.
All seems original, including the convex glass, the dial, hands & the eagle on top. The cover to access the movement is missing. Not a big deal as the wall acts as a cover on a hanging clock. The back board does have splits in the lower portion.
Examine the photos, they are part of the description. Size: 29" x 10" x 4. Weight: 6 lbs 4 oz. NOTE: This clock is in running condition, unless otherwise stated. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the clock will be in running condition when it arrives at your home. If you are not experienced with pendulum clocks, you may need a professional clockmaker, or repair person for setup of the clock. That being said we are confident that this is a serviceable clock, worthy of your investment.
