EXTREMELY NICE! Seth Thomas Four Bell Sonora Clock! TOTALLY Rebuilt
The movement has been completely dismantled, cleaned in a sonic cleaner and overhauled. With all the pivots polished, bushings installed as necessary and lubricated with a very high quality clock oil.
The mainsprings were removed, cleaned and lubricated, as well. The case, also, has been rebuilt. I rebuilt the case out of necessity due to it being completely wrecked by a carrier on its way to me. After reassembling the parts of the case, I gave it about seven coats of paint, along with four new columns. The thick beveled glass is scratch, chip and bubble free.This clock is a strong runner and is keeping time well. It chimes and strikes on a set of four tuned bells and has a really sweet and melodic resonating sound. It comes with the proper key for winding. The dimensions are 14" tall x 15" wide x 7 deep. As with any mechanical clock, it may need adjusting upon arrival at its new home.
