I START THIS CLOCK BY MOVING THE PENDULUM ROD TO EITHER SIDE THEN JUST RELEASE IT AND IT GOES BACK AND FORTH, KEEPING THE CLOCK GOING IT. I DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BACK OF THE CLOCK ABOUT RAISING AND LOWERING THE CLOCK FAST. THIS CLOCK RUNS FINE AND KEEPS AN ACCURATE TIME.
