Seth Thomas "Marken" Golden Oak Adamantine Mantle Clock. This clock was made by The Seth Thomas Clock Company of Thomaston, Connecticut. The model name for this clock is Marken.
8 day time and strike #89 movement, strikes on a cathedral gong... Strikes once on the half hour then counts out the hour. Movement has been completely overhauled and is in guaranteed running condition.
Please see video link below pictures for demonstration of gong strike. The case is covered with Golden Oak Adamantine, the columns of Mahogany, all in wonderful condition. Paper dial with black Arabic numerals in great condition. The front is adorned with Mahogany Adamantine half-round columns. Bronzed ornaments adorn this clock, feet, column caps, and lion heads.
