PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION. I wound it and it the movement seems to work fine although I didn't test the time keeping of it. It was still going a couple days later. I'm not sure if it will go 8 days or not. Also after winding the chime spring I don't think I heard a hourly chime.
