Vintage Seth Thomas USA Wood Gingerbread Mantle Shelf CLOCK Face & Wings Design
The shiny places in the pictures are glare/reflections from the lights. The finish is bubbling in places, the original brass pendulum has dings on the edge, the face is dirty, & the reinforcement piece on the back has a chip as shown. It chimes on the hour (12 chimes at 12 etc), once on the half-hour, & keeps time. The only thing wrong is when it chimes on the hour it chimes about four minutes early & I don't know how to fix it. Comes with key & original brass pendulum. The glass cover is good. The gingerbread style Clock is detailed with a Face & Wings design.
The face reads: SETH THOMAS - MANUFACTURED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. There is a partial paper label inside that reads: MANUFACTURED BY SETH THOMAS CLOCK COMPANY - THOMASTON, CONN.
